Breakers of the Code The Anders' Quest Series Book 1 edition by CB Archer Literature Fiction eBooks

A virtual world perverted.
An ancient threat ignored.
A spunky elf pantsless.
Industry giant Tornado Tech Games has just released their latest masterpiece, the massively multi-player online role playing game Annals of Gentalia. Anders, the plucky elf Night Ranger is pumped to explore its most secret depths.
But things are not always how they seem in the virtual world. When the elf accidently breaks into the hidden code of the game, his play experience is forever altered. Everyone has to adapt to a game world where the once normal monsters are now charged with sexual energy. Anders ends up setting off on an epic journey to save his own ass.
As the world quickly plummets into chaos around him, a vital question lingers. What kind of video game would willingly release a horde of sex crazed monsters into the world? More importantly to Anders, where can an elf get some pants around here!?
Warning Contains m/m content and vigorous monster banging.

ook, I know this line gets tossed around lightly, but here, in this instance, there is no hyperbole:You have never read a book like this before.
Seriously. I'm not a fan of the modern erotica genre for a number of reasons that I will not get into here. What I found in Anders' story was a refreshing, humorous, and in no way blood-boiling take on both video game satire and campy, anything goes sex romps.
Any video game monster you can think of (and some you would never think of) can't seem to keep it in their pants when our hapless hero wanders by. Yes, this does make for some strange and even uncomfortable situations, but it works, trust me on this.
The story itself is fun. Admittedly, it has something of a slow start and I was a little worried that each chapter was just going to be Anders being mauled by a different game boss, but no, that's just the set up. A couple of chapters in we meet the rest of the group and suddenly there's plot being spewed everywhere.
I daresay, my favorite of the bunch might just be the caps lock abusing Roodg. Why? I wish I knew. My reasons are as shrouded in mystery as Roodg's gender identity. There's just something endearing about several text boxes filled with nothing but "hI!" and "nEAT!"
Who would enjoy this? Video gamers with a sense of humor, M/M erotica fans with a sense of humor, humor fans with a sense of humor, and perverts the world over.

Breakers of the Code The Anders' Quest Series Book 1 edition by CB Archer Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This was a very long story (743 pages in pdf) and it took me a while to get into it. The characters and/or scenes were funny and somewhat annoying. A lot of the characters were very sexed up. Seriously, I think every chapter had at least one sexual encounter involved. The bosses were fun to learn and see about. That being said I think it started becoming a very tedious read towards the end even though it turned out to be an entertaining read.
Starting out I really thought this was a weird book. I like playing rpgs but reading a characters experience with(in) one was just odd and to be truthful not as enjoyable as playing and seeing the story unfold myself. I also thought Ander's may have picked up a hentai rpg instead of a normal rpg.
The writing was very descriptive. It was helpful in helping me to visualize what was happening and how the characters might have looked. Although the length of the bosses or NPC ...umm...nether regions were a bit more tricky and scary to think about.
There were a lot of questions raised about why Ander seemed to be the only one to be experiencing these unfortunate (or well maybe fortunate to Anders) turn of events involving the enemy and NPCs to want to assault him sexually. I liked that the author managed to answer all those questions that popped up while I was reading in the story. Although I'm still unsure why Anders broke (unless the Pink slime caused it to happen?)
I don't recommend this to anyone who wants romance since this isn't that type of book. However if you like erotica (and elves) this is definitely a book to give a read.
I received a free copy of this book through the DBML program on GoodReads.
So first of all, I am not the target audience for this book. I don't read much fantasy, especially elves and fairy so on a quest. And I'm not really into video games. Especially ones where you wander around till you find something to fight. I do read M/M books and erotica, but usually ones focused on romance.
Reguardless, loved the book. The entire thing was delightfully ridiculous. The cover is gorgeous. We get the story from Anders' point of view - an elf character playing a MMPG who has lost his pants and must level up enough get some useable clothes. He needs to battle monsters and bosses to get points and find items to help him do this. Something has gone wrong in the game and most of the bosses want to take advantage of Anders' pantsless state. We get to know some other players through their use of comments in text boxes which adds to the authenticity.
I realized at about chapter 14 that I didn't know much about Anders outside of the game - what he looks like, how old he is, what real life responsibilities he had to deal with - but it didn't matter. The story is about the fantasy game.
Despite not being well versed in fantasy books or video games, I never felt lost or confused. I may have missed a couple of jokes, but even if I did, the book had a great sense of humor and Anders' list got funner to more items that got added to it. (I am going to start my own list.)
There is a lot of sex in this book and some of it was a little odd. I have a very fine line for dub-con/non-con and there was once or twice I thought a boss battle might cross it, but it didn't. The sex was steamy and I enjoyed the creative use of in game abilities to enhance it.
I can easily say I've never read anything like this and I'm glad I did.
Would I read this again? Yes
Would I read this author again? Yes! There is a sequel in the works.
Five stars for sexy fun times.
And to the people who didn't like the content of the book, read the description! It's exactly what is says on the tin - elfrotica in a fantasy video game setting.
